1. Introduction

Welcome to Makkah Tours & Travels UK. By booking our Hajj, Umrah, or any other travel services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

2. Booking Policy

• All bookings must be made through our official website, office, or authorised agents.
• A minimum deposit (as specified in your package) is required to secure your booking.
• Full payment must be completed before ticketing, visa processing, or travel confirmation.
• Bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

3. Payment Terms

• Payments can be made via debit/credit card, bank transfer, or approved payment gateways.
• All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
• Makkah Tours & Travels UK reserves the right to correct any pricing errors or omissions before final confirmation.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or letter. Refund eligibility depends on the time of cancellation and the services booked:

• Cancellations within 48 hours of booking (before ticket or visa processing): full refund.
• Cancellations after services are confirmed: subject to supplier deductions.
• Non-refundable items (e.g., airline tickets, visas, and certain hotel bookings) are excluded from refunds.

5. Passport & Visa Requirements

• It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure that their passport is valid for at least six (6) months from the travel date.
• Visa approval is at the sole discretion of the Saudi authorities. Makkah Tours & Travels UK cannot be held liable for any delays or rejections.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, cancellations, and personal belongings. Makkah Tours & Travels UK is not responsible for costs incurred due to lack of insurance.

7. Responsibilities of the Traveller

• Travellers must comply with local laws, customs, and Saudi Arabia’s religious regulations.
• Respect for fellow pilgrims and staff is mandatory.
• Travellers are responsible for safeguarding their own personal belongings at all times.

8. Company Liability

• Makkah Tours & Travels UK acts as an agent between travellers and service providers (airlines, hotels, transport companies, etc.).
• We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by airlines, visa authorities, or other third parties.
• We are not responsible for loss, damage, or injury unless directly caused by proven negligence on our part.

9. Changes to Packages or Itinerary

We reserve the right to modify travel itineraries, accommodation, or transportation arrangements if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be communicated promptly, and equivalent alternatives will be provided wherever possible.

10. Force Majeure

Makkah Tours & Travels UK will not be held responsible for disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, flight cancellations, or government restrictions.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be handled exclusively in UK courts.
